Donald Trump – In its second consecutive week at #1 because Sunday Bottom 5 pollsters want to know which Trump Trait (TT) continues to lock in support…Is it the fact he is an ignorant liar, a convicted felon, and an admitted sexual predator???…That he is still a man of zero moral or intellectual substance???…Or maybe it’s something else SB5 pollsters are missing entirely
2. War! War! War! – US vs Iran still illegal, immoral, stupid, and still lacking an exit strategy…Russian/Ukrainian war still has no end in sigbt, while Israel/Hamas war remains a geonocide…All are three (3) of the over 100 wars going on in world right now, as planet might be its most war-torn since World War II,
3. Gaylon For Congress…Vote Early, Vote Often – The 3-hole staple…New Daily Report segment on campaign’s Facebook page harps on familiar themes, with daily accounting of number of consecutive days US has been at war, plus the daily national debt total, which increases by a few billion dollars each day…Local issues take it in shorts, as Gaylon prefers to focus on issues that can destroy our country.

4. Los Angeles Rams – Recently retired Bottom Ten pollsters reappear for this one, as preseason Super Bowl favorites travel to Australia day before game and get lunch handed to them by 49ers…This is alarming, meaning either Rams were too dumb to realize flying 15 hours the day before playing an NFL game was witless, or they’re not as good as everyone thought.

In 1788 – The Congress of the Confederation of the US sets the date for the first presidential election. The Constitution had been ratified in June, and Congress resolved that states would choose their presidential electors the following January 7, and electors would cast their ballots on February 4. Citizens began voting on December 15, and the new government formed on March 4. The Electoral College unanimously elected George Washington president and he was inaugurated on April 29.
In 1942 – Lennie Merullo of the Chicago Cubs ties the major league record for most errors in an inning in a 12-8 win over the Boston Braves in the second game of a doubleheader. Merullo, playing shortstop, had four errors in the second inning, tying the record that had been done three times previously and has been done three times since. His grandson Matt Merullo played in the major leagues from 1989-95.
In 1975 – Glen Campbell is at #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 for the second and final consecutive week with Rhinestone Cowboy. The song also went to #1 in Yugoslavia, Ireland, and Canada, peaked at #4 in Great Britian, was in its third and final non-consecutive week at #1 on Billboard’s country chart, and was Billboard’s 2nd-biggest song of the year. It was the first of two #1 pop hits for Cambell and his fourth of five country #1s.
