The Sunday Bottom 5
A ranking of some things.
1. Elon Musk – Musk, finally, out of the government now, his beloved DOGE resulting in zero cuts codified by US law, a stained relationship with Trump – which is actually to his credit – and his spaceships continuing to fail to meet established goals…Sunday Bottom 5 pollsters “pretty sure” this could not be happening to a nicer guy.
2. Colorado Rockies – Rockies 0-6 this week, threatening to make mockery of race for worse MLB record ever, which is not easy to do…All-time loss record their’s for the taking, though Rockies will need to find four (4) more losses to finish with lowest winning percentage ever.
3. Pope Shoeless Joe I – New pope, a die-hard White Sox fan, now considering calling special consistory to address beloved White Sox’s problems…Solutions to be considered include making Order of Matins new 7th-inning stretch tradition and putting baptismal fonts at each base. Virgin Mary expected to soon be appointed roving minor league instructor.
4. War! War! War! – Stop us if you’ve heard this before: Israel’s genocide in Gaza continues, with further attacks on refugee camps and private residences, all while starving the area…Russian/Ukrainian War rolling on, too, as President Trump unable to stop war in promised 30 minutes…Imagine that.
