The Diary of a Nobody – Sparrow has the latest from the hotel’s cash drawers. Today’s Diary.
In other news from the Cash Drawer Desk, there are an astonishing number of pennies in both drawers, 83 total, 42 in one and 41 in the other…This is a lot…Usually, there will be less than 25 – the number of pennies in a roll – and both have had over 40 since before the road trip.
(Now, you don’t have to be the Secretary of the Treasury to know in a cash drawer with an even amount of money the number of pennies should be divisible by ten, but there were receipts and petty cash slips in both drawers…Everything added up.)

The Diary of a Nobody – Sparrow wants to smack a phone caller. Today’s Diary.
There was a phone call late, tho, around 0530…This woman calls and announces her daughter has a reservation for later today and if an early check-in might be possible…This, of course, is a reasonable enuff query so I ask her what time her daughter will be in town and then BOOM, I’m given her itinerary for the past two weeks…Well, she’s coming back from this or that thrilling field trip with college or something like that and soon enuff I wanted to smack her.
Answer the GD effing question you clueless broad!!!

The Diary of a Nobody – At the hotel, Sparrow makes one of his famous tough calls. Today’s Diary.
Where to set the sacks out was left to me, one of those famous tuff calls us nite auditors get paid to make…When we had breakfast sacks in the past they were put on a counter next to the front desk, the one designed to serve anyone in a wheelchair…However, there was a nice long table in the lobby that would do nicely, too, tho ultimately, after standing in the lobby considering the matter with my hands on my hips for a few moments, yours truly decided to utilize the front desk counter because the sacks would be easier to see.

The Sunday Bottom 5
A ranking of some things.
1. People of the State of Minnesota – Good job on not charging Derkek Chauvin with Murder 1…Sometimes prosecutors do this when a cop kills someone, but this is hard to prove when killer knew the victim only a few minutes…Murder 2 & 3 and Manslaughter 2 were reasonable charges supported by the evidence.
2. Indonesian Submarine KRI Nanggala-402 – You volunteer, you report aboard and sometimes you’re lost at sea because there is never a guarantee of surfacing after you dive…No one sure why boat went past crush depth – pretty much what you think it is – and 53 shipmates are gone.
3. Lauren Daigle – After 125 non-consecutive weeks at #1 on Billboard Hot Christian Singles chart, single You Say drops to runner-up spot as something called Crowder hits #1 with Good God Almighty…Sunday Bottom 5 pollsters will continue to keep tabs on song – which holds Billboard all-chart record for most weeks at #1 – as single has fallen and returned to top spot several times.
4. NASA Helicopter Ingenuity – Small, pesky helicopter takes man’s first aerial flights on another planet this week…While Sunday Bottom 5 pollsters hardly in possession of astronaut wings, they remain “pretty sure” that years from that tentative first flights will be looked upon as landmarks in space exploration.
5. NASA/SpaceX Contract – Contract signed to send humans back to moon…Is there a reason for this???…No, not a good one…We’ve been there before, six times, and our work is done there…Sunday Bottom 5 pollsters “like, really certain and stuff” the only place to send humans right now is Mars.

The Diary of a Nobody – Sparrow is back at the hotel. Today’s Diary.
The big news is ol’ Sparrow wasn’t on the schedule at the hotel when he reported for duty for his first night back since his vacation…I am not making that up…The first sign was Assistant Front Desk Manager Q looking like he was witnessing the Son of Man arriving when I walked in.

The Diary of a Nobody – Sparrow is back at the gym. Today’s Diary.
The first soak since before vacation was really nice, too…One of the Friday old(er) ladies that has the hots for me was in the back hot spring tho she was occupied with someone who appeared to be a gentleman caller who was talking her up pretty good and she couldn’t stare at me like she’s accustomed to.
