The Diary of a Nobody – At the hotel, some whiners annoy Sparrow. Today’s Diary.
The second whiner was a snotty younger pilot who charmed me by summoning me from the back office with a “hey”…It was 0601 and the van wasn’t here yet and he noted the hotel van parked out front “doesn’t appear to be running”…I wanted to smack him because he made it sound like this was all my fault.
Here is a Sparrow ProTip from me to you: if you are desirous of continuing your career serving others, do not follow thru on this urge and, as it was, I didn’t, merely informing him ground transportation was a deal between the airline and the local taxi company…He nodded significantly, tho it was plain he still suspected I had something to do with it.
