At 0530 Candace said she was retiring to her room for as much sleep as would be allowed her and 15 minutes later the tech – who never did offer his name – fled, too…He said he was mainly a “front-end hardware guy” and that his work was done for now adding, spellbindingly, that “it’s in the hands of the software guys now. All the hardware’s basically in place and ready to go…They’ll call me when they need me again.”
