By Gaylon Kent

Editor’s Note: Gaylon is working on a project and most elements of The Daily Dose – Leading Off, The Sunday Bottom 5, On This Date, Some Philosophy Crap, Trivia – are either on hiatus or running intermittently. Your full-service Daily Dose will return, probably later this spring, though perhaps in the summer.

Today At The Site
Writing worth reading. Usually.

The Diary of a Nobody – Sparrow cleans the cabin, tries a new route for his walk and shaves the dome.

Today’s Diary.

This is a new route and my guts – call it the instincts all the great ones have if you must – said this was about two miles and I checked it later on that website that tracks distances down to inch and sure enuff it was…A bit more actually.

Some Philosophy Crap
The wisdom of the ages. Whatever.

…Clevenger, the corporal, and Colonel Korn agreed that it was neither possible nor necessary to educate people who never questioned anything.
Joseph Heller
Catch-22
