Today At The Site
Writing worth reading. Usually.

The Diary of a Nobody – At the hotel, Sparrow deals with a drunk. Today’s Diary.

Then he starts in on me…I’m counting the cash drawers, tho, and while he wasn’t so drunk he couldn’t tell I was working, he was drunk enuff not to care and soon enuff he’s talking about how he really wanted to join the French Foreign Legion when he had gotten out of the Air Force…Eventually, it was time to retire to the back office, so I apologized but was firm when he tried to offer other talking points…The bar was closed and he seemed disappointed to have to go back to his room.

Some Philosophy Crap
The wisdom of the ages. Whatever.

Fortune is guiding our affairs better than we ourselves could have wished.
Miguel de Cervantes
Don Quixote
