With eight (8) teams with two (2) or fewer (fewer) wins – including 75% of the NFC East – Bottom Ten pollsters’ patented TitleTrak Radar is working overtime determining positions in the race for the coveted Dan Henning Trophy – symbolic of NFL Bottom Ten supremacy.

Well, determining the positions behind the New York Jets, that is. The Jets are still winless with fan(s) in Detroit and Cleveland – who know what to look for – starting to sit up and take notice.

This week’s fiasco as the nags continue their limp up the backstretch:

1. New York Jets (0-9; lost to New England 30-27) – Jets constructing classic B-10 run, with thrilling national TV come-from-ahead-loss their latest box checked on road to B-10 Hall of Fame…Jets 33rd NFL team to start season 0-9…Next Loss: at Los Angeles Chargers

2. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-7; lost to Houston 27-25) – Jaguars clutch in must-lose showdown, out-gaining and out-firstdowning Texans and still yanking defeat from jaws of victory…Offense overcomes humiliating late touchdown by blowing ensuing two (2)-point conversion…Next Loss: at Green Bay

3. Dallas Cowboys (2-7; lost to Pittsburgh 24-19) – Who’s going to snap the Steelers’ season-opening win streak???…Not the Cowboys, who show strong finishing kick in blowing ten (10)-point 4th-quarter lead…Cowboys have lost four (4) straight for first time since 2015…Next Loss: at Minnesota

4. Carolina Panthers (3-6; lost to Kansas City 33-31) – Never-say-win Panthers hang tough, not blowing lead until late in 3rd-quarter…Close road loss to defending Super Bowl champions type of bad-for-morale loss that tends to lead straight to B-10 glory. tuff…Next Loss: Tampa Bay

5. Detroit Lions (3-5; lost to Minnesota 34-20) – Lions secure loss by allowing touchdown with only ten (10) men on field, despite long NFL tradition of playing eleven (11) players…B-10 pollsters, Lions fan(s) “pretty sure” Lions would have given up touchdown anyway, even with full complement of defenders…Next Loss: Washington

6. NFC East (9-24) – With three (3) two (2)-win teams all tied for second behind three (3)-win Eagles, NFC East easy pick for coveted, weekly, Pete Rozelle Award, issued to league’s worst division…Division so bad NFL expected to make champion play play-in game vs Jets for final playoff spot.

7. Los Angeles Chargers (2-6; lost to Las Vegas 31-26) – With only wins against Bengals, Jaguars in 2020, Chargers favorites for Marvin Lewis Award, issued to team that can’t lose the big ones…Chargers need focus against Dolphins and can’t be caught looking ahead to showdown with Jets in two (2) weeks…Next Loss: at Miami

8. Washington Whatevers (2-6; lost to New York Giants 23-20) – Whatevers back on losing schneid following devastating win over Cowboys as offense not even good enough to give defense lead they can blow…Whatevers need big road loss to Lions this week break away from NFC East pack…Next Loss: at Detroit

9. Houston Texans (2-7; defeated Jacksonville 27-25) – Defense given frowny faces on playbooks for stopping late two (2)-point, game-tying conversion that would have given Texans chance to blow game in overtime…Two (2) wins nothing to sneeze at through nine (9) games, but season sweep of Jaguars all but ends Houston’s B-10 medal stand hopes…Next Loss: at Cleveland

10. Indianapolis Colts (5-3; lost to Baltimore 24-10) – Colts actually not too bad in 2020, however opening loss to Jaguars, who have since lost seven (7) straight, gives Colts sufficient strength-of- schedule points for own B-10 ranking…Next Loss: at Tennessee (11/12)
