A ranking of some things.
1. 9/11 Prisoners: – US authorizes transfer of three more Guantanamo detainees who have never been charged with anything to other countries, though – hilariously – no countries are currently lined up to receive them…Sunday Bottom 5 pollsters don’t like terrorism any more than you do, but how come we are holding people for upwards of 20 years without charging them with anything?
2. Israel/Hamas War –People have fought in the Middle East longer than the US has been around, but maybe if the US gave other nations the dignity of conducting their affairs without the benefit of US interference, maybe things like this wouldn’t happen as often.
3. Lauren Daigle – Sunday Bottom 5 pollsters tapping monitors in case Billboard Hot Christian Singles chart stuck as You Say extends Billboard all-chart record with 129th non-consecutive week at #1…Envious Morman Tabernacle Choir now getting testy as plans for cool jazz versions of rebooting Onward, Christain Soldiers as Onward, Christian MAGAs hits snag in post-production.
4. COVID-19– Hey guys, we ain’t out of the woods yet…Yes, mask restrictions are ending in places, but if you think those that aren’t vaccinated are going to wear masks you are high – legally in more and more states…Sunday Bottom 5 pollsters “pretty sure” another round of virus spikes “like, right around the corner and stuff”.

The Diary of a Nobody – Sparrow’s famous Spanglish isn’t much use with the restaurant’s new cook. Today’s Diary
The new cook for the restaurant is pretty funny, tho he’s not really intending to be…He rings the bell at 0550 every morning – ten minutes early – and I stick my head out and nod and say my standard “good morning, I’ll meet you in the back”…The problem is the cook has very little English – far less than my Spanglish – and he usually produces a blank stare and a laff and you get the impression you could probably inform him his mother wore army boots and he’d laff.
