Meet Sparrow, an average man passing an average life…
Monday, May 7 At 1.30 this morning I’m winding down what little work I have to do at Hotel B when I hear the door to the front desk open and low and behold it’s Adam, the new GM…GM Adam was dressed in Air Force fatigues, too…I was curious – as you would be, too – as to exactly what GM Adam was doing at the front desk at 1:30am dressed like GI Joe, but GM Adam is still living on property, so it wasn’t a complete surprise to see him, and it turns out he is in the Air Force Reserves, too, which explains the airman get-up. Sunday, May 6 Some of you might be wondering if I’ll be buying another house shirt…The first two I bought – the brick red and the navy blue ones – have, of course, been utter and complete triumphs, providing both the looks and comfort gentlemen of distinction – like me – demand while sleeping and farting around the house…They’re super comfortable, come in a variety of colors and are popularly price. Saturday, May 5 Got The Wife’s car in to get the snow tires changed out after work this morning…I paid for it right then, too, because they close at noon on Saturdays and I told the girl I sleep days and asked if I could pay then…They generally don’t like to do this in case something comes up, and I don’t really like to do it because what if something doesn’t get done, but I’d be asleep at noon and she worked it out. It gives me a great deal of pleasure to announce the release of my latest book We The People: Making America America Again. It’s an entertaining, thoughtful and mercifully short book about our country and how concerned and conscientious citizens like you and me can take command of our government again. Portions of the book appeared earlier in The Liberty Handbook, though there are new and rewritten parts, too. The book includes both big picture looks at our country, plus thoughts on specific issues, including what this country really needing is a great national effort.
It’s completely non-partisan, too. It is a book by an American for Americans. It’s $3.99 and comes in an easy-to-read flip book format you will love. Click here to go read a sample chapter and buy it. Proceeds go to Gaylon For Congress.
Also available are two old favorites: The Regular Guys and Backstairs at the Monte Carlo: A Vegas Memoir. These are also $3.99 and I’ll cut you a deal ($9.99) if you buy all three.
Longtime readers know I have offered books and ebooks for sale off and on over the years with generally unsatisfactory results. I never really got it right. Either the format was lousy or the payment system had bugs or, as often as not, both. Now, though, I think you will be pleased with the results.
Now, I’ve written a lot more than three books, but that is all I have for sale right now because one is unreadable, two are missing and were probably unreadable anyway, one is in rewrites and some were written under a pen name, don’t bother asking what it is. So three is what I have for you right now.

Friday, May 4 Damn, this was almost like a real weekend…Recall I knocked off the retailer at 5pm Wednesday and I don’t have to work a hotel on Wednesday or Thursday night and I didn’t have the retailer until 6pm Friday night, so that was 49 hours off, the first stretch of that length where I didn’t have work or a convention to go to in a very long time. Thursday, May 3 A day off today…The only downside was The Wife, for some reason, didn’t also have the day off, tho she usually has Thursdays off, so I was on my own…I did squat.
There were a lot of things I planned on doing, but except for going out to lunch and a couple of other things that did not involve leaving my desk, I didn’t accomplish any of them.
For example, I planned on mowing the lawn today, Continue reading

Wednesday, May 2 Had more fun at Mic’s expense today at the retailer…I report for duty after Hotel B and Tiffany was there and Mic was regaling Tiffer with some thrilling tale about God knows what…Regular readers of this crap know a Mic tale could be anything from something actually having to do with work to how men in his native Senegal get four women to his talking point of last week, wanting to install a bidet on his crapper at home. Tuesday, May 1 Bought a new house shirt during my shift at the retailer Monday night…Except for the color, it’s identical to the one I bought a few weeks ago…They’re really soft cotton with little white dots in a horizontal pattern…These dots are connected by smaller white dots and they were love at first sight…Call it the instincts all the great ones have if you must, but I knew – knew! – these would be comfy and exactly what I need for thru-the-day putzing around the house…And I was right, too…The first one was brick red and the puppy I picked up last night is blue…Somewhere between royal blue and navy blue…Not quite either and I slept in it today while I washed the red one for just the second time…It’s surprising how smelly a house shirt can get when all you do is sleep and sit at your desk in it.
